Below are a few words about the owner, Dan DePasquale, as well as each company.

Dan DePasquale
Dan DePasquale grew up in Syracuse, New York. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1996 and completed basic and technical training, but a back injury resulted in a medical discharge in late 1997. Upon returning home, he enrolled in Onondaga Community College to study criminal justice, but quickly realized it was not the path he wanted to take after completing a semester. After taking some time off, he later enrolled at the same college to study business. College couldn’t hold his attention however, so he decided to leave school prior to completing his degree.
Then, fate stepped in. In March of 2000, he decided at the last minute to join his friends on a trip for spring break down to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. On that trip, he was lucky enough to meet a young woman who had also decided at the last minute to join some friends for a trip. She was from Akron, Ohio and enrolled in a local college to complete an early childhood education degree. Dan moved to Ohio
5 months later in August of 2000. Almost 25 years together and two beautiful daughters later, it was obviously the right choice. Many friends like to recount their love story around their anniversary.
Once in Ohio, Dan explored a few sales positions before landing in the mortgage industry where he excelled in his very first year, ranking as the 7th most successful loan officer in a company of more than 1300, with just 11 months in the business that first year. Two of the gentlemen he worked with in that office have since gone on to form two very successful mortgage banks. Once the market crashed in 2008, Dan found himself with a decision to make after discovering a new sector of the industry he was uniquely qualified for. He formed a successful real estate investing and consulting firm which he ran for a few years, but it still wasn’t fast paced enough for him.
In 2014, he found logistics and was quickly hired into one of the largest freight brokerages in the country. He immediately saw the revenue potential and excelled quickly. But, his entrepreneurial spirit made it hard to stay. Each day, he had different ideas and different views on the ways things should be done to benefit the clients, the carriers, and the company. After honoring a 12 month non compete clause, Dan formed The Logistics Firm LLC and launched it on September 26, 2016. Focused on the ethical treatment of both clients and carriers, TLF quickly grew into a successful company. A few years later, after farming out any auto transports the team came across, and not finding a solution that represented TLF the way he wanted, he formed his own. Accredited Auto Transport LLC was formed on July 26, 2019.
